LOOK TO THE SON
The sunflower is magnificent in all its splendor.
According to its scientific category ranking (genus), it's a heliotrope.
The Greek word “helios” means “sun,” and “tropos,” turn.
Heliotrope's name is derived from its habit of turning to face the sun.
It's how they gather nourishment and grow.
I would offer that this is just one more creative example that
God gives us in nature to grow deep roots and receive nourishment daily
we would be wise to look to the Son.
This is the mission of A Cheerful Heart - to look to the Son for our daily growth.
